Waste of Money, Failed After 2 uses

This tool is a joke. Automotive customer service was deceptive! Using this product, our team found that the material is cheap and broke after only 2 uses. We were left with no choice but to order a replacement from a more reliable brand. The one pro was that it initially looked professional but crumbled quickly. The con was that it couldn't withstand the pressure of a normal job.

Good spring compressor Subaru dohc

Works well, slight screw hole misalignment, cleaning with a drill corrected the misalignment. Otherwise a good deal for the price.

Poor bolt design on engine tools

As Steven Peterson's review shows, the bolt threads are larger than the valve spring seat cup. This tears the threads. THERE IS a solution, provide another screw or buy 2 of them. As long as you do not fully unscrew the side change screw, you will not destroy the tool guide threads. But for that price you can buy a tool that uses a smaller screw that doesn't have this problem.
