Good to have 10

These Phillips bits are not very good as the magnet is so tight on the bit that the bit becomes unusable and the screw wobbles if a piece of metal gets stuck in the magnet. I passed 7 in one room. I have others that have made a full house with no problems. What a pity!

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • unreliable

Well built. in Power & Hand Tools

Very well built. They have a strong magnet. I used drywall screw bits. They last a lot longer than other drywall bits I've used in the past. Keep in mind that these drill bits don't have a permanent stop like dedicated drywall drill bits. It doesn't take long to learn how to use the plastic guide to adjust the screws to the correct height. It can't be cheaper than 10 bits.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • old

Good Drive, Good Magnet

These were impulse purchases. The magnet holds the screw well. As long as the beat holds. The bits themselves rust very easily, so lubricate them. The only downside is that the plastic ring that holds the magnet makes the end of the bit too wide for some deep or narrow holes, so you lose the advantage of the bit going into some holes. I like her. I will buy more. I can even experiment with removing the plastic and using epoxy to hold the magnet in place.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Some errors

Look simple but very impressive!

Very handy when attaching screws. The magnetic collar keeps the screw secure enough and makes it easy to pick up the pucks when they hit the ground! The only problem with them is that the yoke moves about 1mm to engage the head of the screw. You can remove the washer if you like. just with your hands. I lost a couple of collars because I didn't quite know they could be taken off so easily. But overall I really like them! I wish they made them with a T20 racquet too!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Excellent and color coded

I've had traditional bits for many years which means every other screw falls out and every fourth screw gets lost. I'm a moderate DIYer so this was a small to medium issue that has always frustrated me. I bought them about a month ago. I used them every day and said a little prayer of thanks after every fourth screw as since then I haven't lost a single screw and have only knocked one or two off the stairs which is absolutely not a product defect. The best thing is that they are different…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Clarity
