a random set of bits, unenumerated bits.

I have a set of six. It should contain bits with a radius of 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2". The kit does not include the numbers that correspond to the letters in the bitmap. Shaft size in inches, diameter in mm but not accurate enough. I measured the bits with calipers. It turned out that the set I got contained 1/8, 5/16, 3/16, 1/4, 3/8 and 7/16. It did not include a 1/2" radius drill bit. As another reviewer said, the bearings aren't good either.

Pros
  • Use on CNC and other automatic routers, handheld and portable desktop routers
Cons
  • High price

Makes a clean cut, well balanced but the sizing markings are wrong.

The millimeters per cutter are NOT the cutter radius! The millimeter numbers on the label indicate the diameter of the cutter, not the radius. The attached image shows the radius for different sizes. The bit thus corresponds to the standard size in US inches according to the SAE standard. The seller said they would work with the manufacturer to label them correctly. Also, there are no engraved or printed measurements on the barrel. As for cutting, I used the smallest router bit to round the oak

Pros

Quality control issues including poor solder joints

*Dimensions not as stated. My kit included a 3/16" radius drill instead of a 1/2" radius drill. I was expecting something like this based on other reviews.* One bit had blackened cut edges (see photo). This leads me to suspect a problem with the heat treating or grinding processes, but I guess that's perfectly normal. I'm not an expert and I don't know how to diagnose this.* In one case the carbide was not properly brazed to the steel beam (see photo). This defect significantly increases the…

Pros
  • Heavy duty hardened steel body with anti-kickback protection and CNC balancing with high quality pilot bearings
Cons
  • Very expensive
