Kayak comfort

Anchor carriage will please, seriously. Used this with a floating sock in the river and it worked great too. Youtube is full of installation videos. Do not overtighten the screws. If you're really nervous about a case leaking, just use marine grade glue when gluing it on. If you're nervous about the screws coming out, check out the HD kit. 4 stars because I feel like for the price they could add 2 more pillow hooks for people with long kayaks and/or odd shaped hulls, I would definitely use them

Yak Ataka where he is.

Nice tether cart system that I use on two Mokai. The lever lock is much better than the zigzag anchor and the two small line guides prevent anchoring. / Anchor line before collision with ship. Easy installation. I used silicone to cushion the screws. I only had a screw rod when I screwed in the jar. Silicone made sure of that. To a Mokai, the back of the boat doesn't look like a regular kayak, so we sit slightly slanted downriver (anchored to the back of the boat). Anchor in front works well…

love the leverlock feature

Installed this on my kayak a few weeks ago and am glad I did. The lever lock allows you to quickly and easily lock the trolley when changing the mounting position. It only took about 15 minutes to install and the positioning and features work well. I used kayak rivets instead of the included hardware because they didn't have access to the inside of the kayak and I needed something to hold the back end of the rails and pulley a little more. I kept the paracord on the tighter side to reduce undue

Broken pulley on docking and anchoring gear

The second time I used the anchor trolley, the pulley at the rear came loose from the bracket when trying to pitch the kayak. Very cheap materials and quality. All $5 plastic, maybe $5 stainless steel screws and some parachute. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. It's a waste of money if it doesn't work the second time. The rollers do not withstand any load, the wheel just jumped off with ease, went into the water and no one else saw it. Really very disappointed. I struggled all day on…

Great product, highly recommend!

This is a great product and it was delivered very quickly. It is very easy to install, just watch the youtube video before you want to put it on and everything will be fine. The ring cleat is a very handy feature of this anchoring system, it just helps keep everything in order on the yak which is very important as you don't have much room to work. Tip: Buy a CamJam to "tie" the paracord at one end so you can easily loosen the rope if it's too tight or tighten it if it's too loose. Tools needed…

Really disappointing quality

I ordered a YakAttack Leverloc Anchor Cart as it was made in the USA and was hoping that a company like YakAttack would produce a quality product. I opened the package and was shocked to see how cheap the parts are. The pulleys are incredibly cheap plastic and don't even come close to the quality of Harken pulleys. The Leverloc system has grooves through which the mooring car cable passes but is designed so that the bottom line will not stay in the groove unless it is perfectly flat. Finding a…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Reliability

I've had several fishing kayaks and always add an anchor trolley to them. This set is fantastic and a great innovation over other designs. The kit includes everything you need for installation. Benefits: - The included grommets with hooks keep the paracord in place and won't get caught in the kayak where it can get in the way or get tangled. - Leverloc locks the line securely once. You have aligned the kayak in the desired position. I recently used his BTB at sea in 3 feet of water and had no…
