Painting is fun on this paper! It's a bit delicate so be careful what's underneath when you draw. But I applied several coats of paint and applied a stencil and it turned out fantastic!

This paper is well priced but its durability is questionable. I use it for woodcuts and with bamboo sticks. I have a common problem with paper tears when polishing on a block. I don't think it has to do with too much ink or a sharp edge along the cut in the block. I think it's the paper because it doesn't happen when I use Art Advantage Rice Paper.

UPDATE: I love the product but have now tried to reorder it twice and Revain insists on sending it in bubble wrap instead of a box. Paper arrives damaged and crumpled every time! I can't keep sending them back and expecting them to arrive right next time. Never again. I've used it to print my woodcuts and it works better than most other papers I've experimented with lately. I mostly print by hand or with a tiny bookbinder and the paper prints very crisp blacks and shows even the finest lines…
