Not cheap yet: brake parts

I've noticed that some have reported the hose snapping when installing the mandrel. It was not my experience, everything went well. Installation went well, brakes feel good, no leaks. Hope to be on track soon but so far so good.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I don't have a huge aversion to it, it's ok

Cheap line that falls apart when the barb is inserted

Comes with line, olives and barb. The supplied line split after installing the spike. Once it snapped, I tried heating the line in hot water to make it soft and flexible. Line broke when installing the supplied barb. i give it back The quality is terrible.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great hose for practice

Tested with hose inserts and connectors. I tried using it without the inserts installed and the hose was leaking. Instead, I ordered a new tube from Shimano. Thanks for the practice of bleeding my brakes. I also have the tools and everything to put in all the details and fix this problem. Looks like the hardware is the wrong size

Pros
  • Consistent results in test
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

As the last si funciono

Thank you very much

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Working speed

It works, but significantly worse than the Shimano OEM part

Works with Shimano hydraulic disc brake systems, but noticeably less perfectly - cuts are less clean and more prone to abrasion at intersections and connectors feel less reliable in the built-in condition. Use if you can't get a Shimano brake line, skip if you can, or have time to wait on a pending order.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Useless features

Just don't waste your money

I didn't want to wait for a Shimano OEM tube so I bought this one. Does it work like a brake hose? Yes. Does it allow you to stop your bike? Yes. Is it worth buying? Absolutely not! As others have said, the tubing is very prone to splitting and attaching the tips is tricky, but that's not the worst. The tips have a small hole that restricts oil flow. This results in a terrible brake feel. This adds a lot of drag to the feel of the lever (similar to mechanical brakes with very dirty cables). I…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Works but definitely inferior to the original brake hose

I installed it on a cheap Radius hydraulic to power my Rad Wagon. It's been long enough. The brake felt very good after fitting and bleeding, so I have to say the hose does the job. If there are any problems, I will update the rating. However, this is a cheap hose and not as high quality as the OEM option. The first barb I inserted into the hose didn't go straight in and messed up the end. Luckily they sent 4 of them along so I cut it off and tried again. I poured some mineral oil into the hose

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • A few minor things
