YCT Control 16022P8AA03 Accord Odyssey Review

Not fully deburred out of the box. Installed and it stayed open resulting in high idle. Disassembled, used sandpaper for smoothing sharp edges from machining. Works great now.

Fits with no problems. The time will show. Idling isn't as smooth as it used to be on the stock IACV. (stock was Denso). I don't know if it will last forever. At the same time, the price is very cheap. There is still a stock IACV valve and I will clean and use it if this part gives me problems. The P0505 code went away and the rough idle went away and never came back.

The new part looked the same as the OEM part but didn't work when installed on my 2001 TL. I can't tell if it was faulty or if it was for a different car, but I repaired the old valve and had to use a new gasket and bolts to reinstall the old valve. Revain customer service was kind enough to offer a full refund if a new valve was returned, even if the bolts and gasket were missing. Thank you Rewin!

It is possible that I get wrong readings from the OBD scanner, but after installing this item and resetting the idle control in the car, OBD reports that the item is faulty or damaged. So I ordered a replacement, repeated the same steps and now I'm getting the same code as before with a different code related to this second item. I went ahead and removed the item and reinstalled the original part that was there, b4 by ordering them here and now the OBD is not showing any codes. So, I guess I'm…

Maybe I'm out of luck. After changing this part a few times, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly and be able to get it done in under an hour. The first time can take several hours due to stuck hoses and screws.
