There are several fundamental issues with this expansion card. First I checked the transfer speed and it can't reach anything above USB 2.0 speed. The second problem is that for some reason, this expansion card, when this card is plugged into my computer and I turn off the computer, the computer somehow immediately starts up again. This is both very disruptive and quite annoying. It's definitely not worth the money it's worth.

Windows 10 Pro cannot find the driver and even downloading the driver from the hard drive still failed. Tried the card on 3 different computers.

This card is not working. I connect USB devices, the audio is connected, but the devices don't show up in Windows. The same devices will work on other USB ports on the same computer. Could it be bad soldering? It doesn't even look like it's soldered on the back. I do not know.

The old Dell had nothing but USB 2.0 ports. After the upgrade, we can now share and copy an external USB 3.0 drive with a huge speed boost. Day and night. My next drive will support 3.1, so the increase is likely to be even greater.

too expensive, does not work properly. Since it has no power, it only works with memory. If you want to use a USB hard drive, you need to add an external power supply.

Unstable with Oculus Quest 2. Would return if I had opened the return window. It took too much troubleshooting to make sure it wasn't a bad Oculus Quest cable, the Quest itself, or a software issue. In general, I am not satisfied with the card. It is used to power the USB 3.0 hub.

I bought this USB 3.1 adapter because I couldn't get the Oculus Link cable to work with my computer's USB ports. My computer has USB 3.0 ports, but the driver is not compatible with Oculus. It took some research to understand this. Anyway, Windows recognized the device as soon as I installed the hardware. My computer doesn't have a CD drive so I went to the website to download the driver. I found the relevant driver on the website and when I clicked the download button nothing happened. Nothing

I bought this 10Gbps USB expansion card and also a 20Gbps card. The 20Gb/s card was supposed to be for my CF Express card reader for my new camera, which was meant for fast external SSD drives. It turns out that even at CF Express read speeds, this card is only slightly slower than the 20Gb/s card. I mean 1700MB/s versus 1620MB/s. For the extra charge, another card doesn't make much of a difference. That's a good card!
