Excellent quality product as you would expect from a yellow jacket

Excellent quality product as you would expect from a yellow jacket. It is really intended for professionals who use it on a daily basis. The only thing I would recommend for automotive work is to purchase/install an in-line filter on both the high and low pressure lines to keep dirt and compressor debris out of the sensors. This lasts much longer without the need for an overhaul.

  • Easy installation

Simple and reliable

I bought this mainly because my last set of yellow jacket sensors didn't have that rubber protector. I discovered this the hard way when I kept pulling the hose off the valve and dumping some coolant after the hose was already on the manifold. This eventually caused the gauge on the underside to clog and the needle read 50psi when it was 70psi. So this one is way better than YJ's smaller sensor set. I think it's worth the money. I'm still not sure if I want to go digital because I see myself…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I have used the Brutte II and other gauge sets at work and at home for many years. I really like Yellow Jacket products. Brute II is one of my favorite calibers. The large holes (compared to other manifold rods) in the manifold really help flow, which is a big plus for a larger system. From my personal MGS this essay on rebuilding IMHO! A 4 valve manifold is what you want, you just need to pay attention and understand how they work. This is not only nice on some systems, it is a must! The kit I
