Description of ☕️ Yoassi Large Capacity Tea Infuser Strainer with Double Handles - Extra Fine 18/8 Stainless Steel Mesh for Steeping Loose Leaf Tea and Coffee in Teapots, Mugs, Cups

Made of 8/18 Food Grade Stainless Steel. Odor Free. Contains No harmful chemicals. Safer option to dip in hot water than using plastic ones. Keeps your drink free of odor and unwanted taste. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Two Handles. Perfect 5 inch Width & 3inch Height. It can rest properly on the cup's edge. Fits most standard cups, mugs, teapots. Easy to put in and take out. Won’t fall into big mugs and won’t float like others. Extra Fine Holes keep even very fine-leaved tea in (such as Rooibos, Herbal tea and Green teas). Tons of holes allow water to flow more freely. So the tea diffuses quickly. Nothing gets through this except for the water!. Roomy Basket & Sturdy Lid. Bigger capacity makes tea to circulate, instead of being cramped. Allows the full flavor to infuse tea. The lid keeps the steeping goodness from evaporating. Keeps water warm and No Mess. Worry-free Purchase. We care about the customer's purchase satisfaction. If you have any questions while using, just feel free to contact us, we will surely offer you a satisfied solution.

The inner edge of this colander which you can see in the picture if you look closely is very thin and sharp and can easily cut your fingers when washing. It's fine if you wash thoroughly, but I came back as I felt it wasn't worth the risk and had a poor design. ***UPDATE: The seller has contacted me and confirmed that I received the item from an older batch. They informed me that the top inner rim was redesigned and sent me an improved design. I can confirm that the issue I originally mentioned

Balanced criticism: good and bad

Good. The best part of the tea infuser is its top. I like that it's all stainless steel. My other brewer has a silicone interior at the top that is exposed to the rising steam, hitting it and then falling back into the tea. I have to flip the lid over every time for condensation to collect on the stainless steel side only to have the silicone last for years due to this condensation problem. The top of this Yoassi device is also very tight to the vessel. Also, I like the handles which my other…

Goldilocks the Tea Brewer?

I was looking for a "tea ball" or similar to brew herbal tea and despite several reviews I almost bought one of the cheap ones that the holes were so big that the tea /herbs/ and etc. (or sometimes the holes were so small that hardly any water could get in - sometimes for the same product!). This one costs a bit more, but I'm glad I went for it instead. The holes are so small that all but the finest ground teas must remain in them, and there are so many holes that water should have no problem…

OK, but the Oxo version is better

The obvious and secure fit of the lid on the brewer matches the Oxo's obvious and stable way the lid then becomes a functional tray. Yoassi's design is a little off. But it's lighter, slightly cheaper, and worth considering if you're not worried about the workaround. The lid is my main issue - both infusions work well, the oxo is stronger. The short version: After you're done brewing on Yoassi, the lid is meant to act as a drip tray, but it's not deep enough to hold the amount needed. Fluid…
