Description of Yokohama iceGUARD SUV G075 215/70 R15 98Q winter

Winter studless tire Yokohama IceGUARD G075 is designed for crossovers and SUVs in need of reliable grip in harsh winter conditions. The IceGUARD G075 combines the cutting-edge technology of the iceGUARD and iby winter tires for SUVs and SUVs Geolandar. The Yokohama Ice Guard SUV G075 winter tire was developed to replace the Geolandar I/T-S, a popular model that had some drawbacks. The most significant of these were grip properties, significantly improved in the novelty. The use of the latest technologies and materials allowed it to surpass its predecessor in most other driving characteristics. Universal drainage grooves To a large extent, grip on winter surfaces has been improved due to the multifunctionality of the grooves running between the blocks and ribs of the tread. In addition to drainage, these elements perform other functions. In particular, the longitudinal grooves of the zigzag shape, providing a contact patch with additional edges, improve grip on an icy surface. In addition, this design at their intersections allows the tread to better cling to the snowy surface, due to the ability to grip and hold snow. High control accuracy Another advantage over the previous model is the increased control accuracy. This parameter was also improved due to the features in the design of the running part of the tread. A wide, unbreakable rib runs along its center, resistant to deformation, like the shoulder blocks. These elements provide a faster transfer of transverse acceleration forces to the supporting frame elements. As a result, the tire reacts almost instantly to the actions of the driver, giving the process of driving a car with precision and transparent feedback. Sipes in all areas of the treadCompared to the previous model, the sipe density has been significantly increased. The miniature slots are spaced a few millimeters apart, as are the engagement edges they form. This was made possible thanks to the 3D design of the lamellas. This design prevents them from closing under the influence of the weight of the car, and in addition, it limits the mobility of the blocks, which has a positive effect on handling and maneuverability on various types of surface. Optimized Rubber CompoundMost of the traction on ice comes not from tread design, but from some of the properties of the rubber compound. It contains components that allow the tire to absorb moisture from an icy surface. Such "drying" of the contact patch ensures 100% use of all the possibilities of the running part of the tread. In addition, the composition of the compound includes special polymers. With their help, the tire literally sticks to the icy surface, fitting even the smallest bumps as tightly as possible. This property is maintained even at very low ambient temperatures. Evaluate the effectiveness of...

Disgusting, dissatisfied with the purchase.

After using Spikes for ten years, I moved to Hong Kong and gave Velcro a shot. reject it. This is awful rubber; it drags from side to side as you drive, it doesn't stick to ice, and you'll only ever see it used off-road in the summer. whether there is a buyer out there.

Pros
  • quiet
Cons
  • fails miserably as a road indicator

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

You should invest in a high-quality tire. I try on a variety of sizes for the second time. In addition, I attended the initial group sometime in the second year, and I did not bring a camera during the warm and cold months. and it survived summer's +40 degrees without being wiped out. And then they were good as gold throughout winter!

Pros
  • Superior tires in every way. When I first purchased it, on a santafe, it cost me P17. So, I just got back from Cherry Exid with P19. Excellent traction in a snowdrift, on ice, and in deep snow. It works great as a drip!
Cons
  • not locate

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

The flight is routine and the duration of use is six months. A 6 cm * 1 cm * 0.3 cm pin will do the trick for each season. After inflating it once every three days for two weeks, I took it to get fixed and the guys there couldn't believe how well the rubber had concealed the puncture.

Pros
  • Ultra-smooth and utterly silent with excellent grip on the road.
Cons
  • No

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

The tires are quite comfy, quiet, and balance without loads on two out of the four wheels (perhaps as a result of my high profile). On ice as well as other surfaces, handling is good. It is best to avoid interfering unless it is absolutely required because loose snow or muck are not her scene. When I refer to "loose snow," I don't only mean what happens on the roads when it snows; I also mean driving an all-wheel-drive vehicle through snowdrifts, on the ground, or through a field. For instance,

Pros
  • handling while balancing two wheels with zero weight, even on ice.

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

In the warehouse there is no possibility to perform tire fitting and tire fitting with fitting. The seller's partners offer a price of 1000 per wheel, but at the same time a 20% discount is applied. Tire prices are 8% higher than in Hong Kong

Pros
  • Quiet in the cabin (there are no spikes), acceptable handling and braking. Gently passes the joints of the roadway. They gave me the opportunity to choose the size (I wanted the maximum size of the rubber so that it would not touch the suspension and body elements with the maximum eversion of the wheel.
Cons
  • A lot of weights were used to balance the wheels (up to 200 grams each). But still there is a beating at speeds over 120 km / h. There is a certain "jumping" when moving on a wavy surface.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Off-road vehicles can fit perfectly, and they stick on any surface quite well. On asphalt and rolling snow, they move silently; on ice, they move steadily and at a fair speed; and off-road, no matter how far they had to travel, they always did it with a boom. Despite starting on an icy surface, they don't slip. The chemical snow-porridge on the track doesn't frighten them.

Pros
  • On my Toyota Highlander, I had this rubber for the third season. I'm quite happy with the tires.
Cons
  • No
