It causes severe burns when your dog pulls

I don't like the rubber grip which causes 2nd degree burns when trying to hold my dog. The rubber grip is good, but if the dog runs away, it will cause burns. view photos

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great leash, clip tends to break

This is the third 50ft leash I've bought because I don't have a fenced yard. I can tie a dog on a leash and he has 50 feet to explore and he can't escape. Everything about the leash is GREAT except the clip eventually breaks and is difficult to replace leaving a very useable leash that you can't clip to your dog's collar.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Easy to use, not too hard on hands, not as easy to bite as cotton

My dog is young and active, likes to pull and sniff (half beagle). He feels strong enough to give me control without keeping it around. The only thing I didn't like so far was that it wasn't the 20ft length I used. Gave her a little more freedom than 15 feet. I have to be very careful if she jumps over a ditch or something. Now there is no fence, so she needs freedom.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • No automatic

Incredibly Durable: Dogs

I needed a rip cord I could hold on to without worrying about slipping or burning my hands and it fits just right. So far I've tested it in rainy weather and light snowfall. I use it with a 50+ lb Malinois for Schutzhund training where the dog needs to pull full force on the leash for a few minutes during training. at least three times a week. I'll have a slightly abusive relationship with this line to be honest, but it will clearly get the job done. It will definitely work with more typical…

Pretty decent leashes

I like the material of the leash, it has a "rubber" feel and doesn't pick up dirt (we walked the dog on the 600ft street when we Coming back from the radios I have two of these, 15ft and 50ft. The second stitching on the handle loop of the 15ft leash came undone and I had to sew it on my industrial sewing machine. Ignore the Chinese factory that made them in my opinion Another minor complaint: the material the wire is made of has a "memory" - once assembled it is tightly twisted and took weeks…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Just tried it today. Love it. I ordered 15 feet. I already have two thin 25ft from another supplier. I wanted something that would be shorter and easier to manage but still leave room for the dogs to run on our hikes. This length is ideal if you're more of a hiker than walking in the middle of thick undergrowth. The dog won't go far enough ahead to "forget" you're here and that you're not carrying a 20-foot muddy leash if you need to shorten it for some reason. I was skeptical about the rubber…

Good way to control a naughty dog

I hope that changes but it's a small problem at the moment. The leash is not very flexible. Because of this, it's very easy for my hyperactive dog to mistake me for her. She is a boxer pup, around 50# so she might be a problem for me. I feel totally safe and not worried that she might break the leash as it is very strong. My mobility is limited, hence the leash. She was a little fussy when I let her roam free outside. She never wants to come in. So we bought a 50 foot line. As long as I stand…

All around is an excellent long leash

I bought it because I needed a long leash for a multi-day car trip across the country with a cat and a large (100 kg) dog. My previous long leash was a simple, flat-braided nylon that was torn and frayed in many places and tied with a few knots. I just didn't think he would hold back if one or the other animal decided to run after him in earnest. After that trip I use it to tie the same dog and cat outside while they roam the garden. I went with this one because it looked a little more stable…
