I think you get what you pay for. Brand new hose and whenever I plug in any tool the valve gets stuck in the open position and air blows everywhere. I figured it was disposable and I was able to pull it off. But no, any tool I use, any size port will block the valve when I remove the tool.

If it works with no air loss. Not sure if it's the threads themselves or what, but I've tried tape and then liquid thread sealant. still lets air through. The second time I ordered a cheaper hose and got burned both times. I'll buy a good one for my next hose. I know they are not breathable. You get what you pay for.

Couplings leak intermittently. Especially when there is movement in the hose. I have a Bostitch pancake compressor and after reading the mostly positive reviews I expected a reliable product. Unfortunately, this hose doesn't live up to my expectations and leaky connections keep my compressor running more often.

I've used the hose once to date - I bought a small compressor for my main workshop and wanted the hose to withstand any change in the weather ie. H. Hopefully winter in Montana won't be so hard that I can't shoot it. There is no weather yet, but in general it seems normal.

Before connecting this hose to one of my air tools I tested it at 100psi (max for my compressor). Absolutely no leaks. Have also tested it with each of my air tools and the connections have always been leak free. It has the looks and the quality. Easy to roll up and store. In terms of frivolity, the blue goes beautifully with my California Air Tools supercharger. Highly recommended.

I tried ordering 3/8 and got 1/4 instead so it can be used over time but not much. Will keep it but order the right size for my intended use. So the estimate isn't fair, but I've only done this to warn others to be sure of the size you're ordering. Size 3/8 standard. It appears to be a good tube, but what matters most is its durability, which cannot be measured when new.

This is a very good hose. It's well built and very durable. I bought 25ft and 50ft hoses and found I was using 25ft hoses more often. I love these hoses so much I bought an extra 25ft hose to store if I ever need it. If you are looking for a quality air compressor hose, you will not be disappointed with these quality hoses. I would definitely buy again without hesitation.
