This set is well made. I used a 24" breaker with this set which made removing and installing the ball joints a pretty smooth process.

Very heavy/durable "C" construction. I would only add one thing to make it the perfect tool for ball joints, a beveled cup for installation where the underside of the upper control arm is not vertical and the ball joint needs to be pressed at a slight angle.

For a beginner like me, I felt I needed an engineering degree to understand how all the parts work. Even after watching countless YouTube videos. Also, this tool has allowed me to restore the front of my car and saved several hundred dollars. Worth every penny.

Essential tool. I've always done it the hard way. After using these tools I know I did it the hard way. I hope I never replace anyone. But if I do, it won't be the hard way anymore. It's one of those instruments that sits there and sits there. But if you need it, you'll be glad to have it.

I greased the threads before use and suggest doing this and I also used my impact wrench it made the job quick and easy just remember that a Impact wrenches can help or harm you, be careful and be careful. The job I was using at the time was replacing the ball joints on my quad, it didn't have the bushing I needed but I already had a 1-3/16 head that worked perfectly to fit the ball joint to press and position.

Used this tool to remove and install the upper and lower ball joints on my 1994 Ford F-150 pickup. The instructions didn't help me much. I had to improvise to remove the old ones. Installation was easy. If you have this tool you will need a good impact wrench or pry bar. I always received without a beat. The Cheater Bar did a great job.
