I've played with two of these and the cutting design is quite interesting. It easily cuts a 1/4 inch corner of steel plate. I tried it out on 2x4 and cut out some of the letters very easily. I even shave 2x4's with great ease. They don't load. At this point it's too early to tell if they will survive. But the price is right.

I use them for engraving and having different bit shapes really helps when cutting different shapes on different materials. I mainly work with wood and sometimes bone (antler) so I think these bits will last quite a while before needing replacement. I've been using them for a long time and they're still nice and sharp!

I have a disability and make scrolls and distressed flags in addition to my small SSI payouts. I use these ridges to add detail and clean up. So far I'm very impressed. The kit comes with a good selection of burrs and has proven to be more effective than many of the more expensive burrs I've bought in the past. I will not hesitate to buy them again, as well as other products offered by the company.

I've been looking for a long time what burrs to buy for my new rotary tool as I've seen some pretty bad reviews about many of them popping up when I looked. Bought these for a touch up where my Dremel sanding drums were too wide to fit. The variety of tips is great and helped smooth out the corners to smooth out some cuts. Then a light sanding and the edges were excellent. The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars over 5 is because they are all the same "grainy" and if you're not careful they will grab and tear at any soft wood like the birch plywood I used here. Used on broken bolts. I broke 1/4? screw on small motor (throttle lever). I then broke the bolt extractor into the broken bolt. I used them to carve the bolt and bolt extractor. When I finished the beat was a little lackluster (but still worked), but it was better than I expected. I also broke a 3/8 head bolt: on the same motor (8hp flat head). I wanted to review it because there weren't many reviews when I bought it. They are much nicer than I expected. I needed them quickly to get the job done and decided to buy better ones later. I've used them on brass, carbon steel, leather and various copper/silver alloys with no problem. They cut cleanly, the burrs themselves are well cut. I had no problems with chipping. When I saw them on Revain I thought they might provide me with the different shapes I was looking for. And although I would have liked a little more variety, I can't complain. Because those little burrs look and feel like real high quality end mills, cutter heads and cutting tools that we used on our CNC machines in the machine shop where I worked for many years.
