Yukon needs to step up quality control

The sprocket screw holes are all misaligned, they still all match up, but a minor detail of bad QC cross pin holes and a bit small, they need to be reamed/drilled out of this is the second one you get sent, the first one belonged to d44 and was too big

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Fake Center Pin Hole

Center pin hole undersized by approximately 0.010 inch. From what I've read Yukon will not fix this, leading me to believe these tote bags will be rejected and sold here due to the quality. I was able to drill out the bracket by hand in about 30 minutes using 320 grit sandpaper and a round tool handle. No wow what a deal. but as.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

Good to wear, pin hole too small

Received in the post yesterday. Ordered here for delivery compared to other places for the price. I put a bracket in it during installation and it turned gray until I inserted the centering pin. The hole in the bracket is too small. It's not a big amount but there's no way I can make it fit, I have to put him in a team. I'm waiting for a call from Yukon but it looks like the casting was shut down when it was done.

Installation on Jk Sport 2012. The carrier is fine.

Installed on a 2012 Jk Sport. The frame is well made and the axles fit. But where the spider rides, there's a raised lip. Makes it impossible to reinstall factory gears. I called Yukon to ask if I needed any other gear, they told me I shouldn't have bought it from Revain and that was no problem. So I went to the parts store. They checked and found that Yukon was selling netting gear designed to work with a raised surface that they placed on the girder. I wish Yukon could just say it over the…

Cherokee D30 - Axle

Don't review often but hopefully I can save someone else my costly troubles, after finding out my 4.88 gears were mounted on a lower numbered carrier I ordered this, to get my new install right. The cross pin didn't fit, I opened up a few thousand holes and the pin seemed to go in fine so I put it back together. On my first outing I broke a cross pin in my locker which I have been using for over 7 years with no problems. When I ripped it apart I found that the pin had destroyed my new gears as…

It will work - Replacement parts

I bought this to be able to upgrade my jeep's front differential to work with 5.13 gears. As mentioned, the pin really sits correctly and does not fall off. It was connected to a spider (YPKD30-S-27) and the gears aren't nearly as tight on the pin as the carrier, so I decided to roll the dice and give it a try anyway. I managed to get it working with a deathblow and "gentle persuasion". After half a dozen hits, it started to fade. Once the pin goes through the first hole it moves noticeably…
