It was very easy for me to put it on I have used it on many different areas of my engine and am very happy with it, no strange problems, sticks very well and although it says you know you have to come back, it's sticky, it's temporary, it's been around for a long time and it's better than expected, usually with tape products you know are junk.

This material is really strong. That works great. Most of the tapes I saw looked very thin. This is closer to the thickness of good duct tape and is perfect for my purposes which needed to provide some insulation between my gas range and the granite tops and also around the exhaust duct. I would recommend this product for a lifetime!

I used a full roll to wrap my K&N receipt. It definitely helped keep airbox and pipe temps down, but loses points due to the lack of clutch. Even a little heat didn't make it sticky enough. it keeps peeling off on the curves. Okay, nothing can be fixed with a little superglue. Too bad it also looks a lot like duct tape - I'd go with plain black if offered.

Bought because one of the tumble dryer's internal fins broke leaving three small holes. I used this tape to cover the holes and prevent heat and lint from escaping (energy saving and fire safety, right?). He's been on site for over a month and has probably seen about 20 drying cycles per hour. Still fit. No adhesion or degradation issues.

The adhesive sticks well when applied to a clean surface. The problem is that heat causes a loss of grip. The manufacturer even says that the glue is not permanent and zippers must be used. After 45 minutes of driving, the edges of the tape started to peel off. I zipped in wherever I could, but the odd shape of my air intake made it difficult to place the zips where they need to be for a permanent solution, so time will tell how much they will peel off. This heat reflective Newtex tape is ten times better than Thermo-Tec. This tape has excellent adhesion. It's not too thick and reflects the heat skillfully. This tape is amazing! I know it's no fun worrying about reflective material, but wow! This tape is easy to cut, shape, stick and stay in place. Struggled for years and changed the electric fan plug on our car four times. Right next to the exhaust manifold, of course. Time and heat caused the connector to fail, causing the electrical connectors inside to become loose and fail. So far this tape saved the new one and it was very easy to cut and tape the entire connector as well as along the wiring
