I have been buying ink from EZ Ink for many years and have always been happy with the quality and price. I received an order for this color on April 8th. It took me a week or two to use up the last of the ink from the previous shipment, then I started struggling with the ink from this shipment. I bought this ink for my Brother MFC-J450DW printer/scanner. I have never had any problems with other manufacturers' inks, but my printer does not print with these inks. I tried several test prints, several cleanings. The best I could get was some black spots. I really hope my printer is not damaged. I will try the original Brother inks and see if they work. When my printer breaks, I get very upset. A reliable printer for a long time.

After my previous bad experiences with other brands of inks, I am extra cautious when using 3rd party inks in Brother printers. Luckily, the EZ ink worked just as well as the original Brother ink in my MFC-J870DW printer. Printing is crisp and bright with no bleeding or other EZ ink cartridge issues. I have also replaced OEM cartridges in an old Brother printer and a Lexmark printer with great results and performance. I highly recommend EZ Ink.

I've used several "non-brand" inks and often found them to work well. However, my printer now prints everything in orange when using it. With my Adobe software in particular, everything prints in orange, even if I print in black and white or do a black overlay. That's a pity, especially since I print on all black foils.
