46-piece set of solid, heavy wall, carbon steel, self-locking, unified coarse thread inserts for use in metal. Packaged in a case with a compartment for each of five different sizes: 10-24, 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, and 1/2-13. Self-locking with pre-applied Loctite on the external threads that is ready to use in 3-5 minutes and seals against liquids and gases to 6,000 psi when fully cured (72 hours after installation). The box says 319-8 with 5/8-11.

The box says it is 319-8, 5/8-11 outside, but the parts are clearly 329-8 with 3/4-10 outside. Some other sizes also look wrong.

Threaded Inserts: Lock

They do what they are supposed to do and hold up much better than the spiral inserts. I just wish they showed the decimal/fractional equivalents on the datasheet inside, not everyone knows the letter drill size on fractional/decimal numbers.

Great product, evenly finished and versatile

EZ Lok inserts are great, I use them on a lot of different woodworking projects. One problem is that they don't offer as many thread pitch options as possible. You should increase the thread pitch parameters, which will make them more versatile.

Tapping on soft materials is a cup game, you know? Use threaded inserts instead.

Ordered US set and metric set. Received 2 sets of metrics incorrectly. The barcode/contents label was found to be incorrect - it was for a US kit but it had a metric (M100) kit. Gave it back to Revane. I hope they sort out the tag before reselling. They're just great for getting really strong threads into soft materials like aluminum or plastic. The set is convenient so you have the exact size you need.
