Doesn't sit properly on counter allowing tape to run straight.

This is good protection for the tip of the pole but not good for tape that runs straight along the fence line. As you can see in the picture the electrical ribbon connector sits inside the pole on the side of the pole.

Pros
  • Fits all gauge wire
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Large T-post Cap and Insulator

Our new neighbor wanted to move our electric fence to the right place. When we bought our property from our first neighbor, we didn't talk about where the actual boundary was. We simply put our electric fence where it had its own fence. HOORAY! Not so good later. However, this T-Post protective case solved the problem. We were able to quickly install the fence using 2 inch electrical braid through the insulator. The 2 inch strip became a nice fence to keep our horses on our side of the fence…

Pros
  • Protects animals from T-post spikes
Cons
  • Some small things

fits better than round

5 stars for price, durability and ease of use. I have both square and round ones - I like them better because they fit better, although some of the tops of the T-pillars are warped from being driven into the ground. The clip easily holds barbed wire, high tensile wire or beef/pork slabs. One downside to this is that the clamp isn't as strong as some others, but if you're tying your fence to posts and using them for extra support then you're fine - don't count on them to hold the fence in place…

Pros
  • T-stand boot cap and insulator for 1-1/4 and 1.33 T-stacks
Cons
  • Vulgarity
