Easy replacement for an equivalent wired box. Our customer service reps have been happy with it so far, the battery life has been solid and the techs have been happy they didn't have to change anything to accommodate that. The base connects like a regular USB scanner and the Bluetooth receiver is in the base.

I just got this scanner after upgrading an almost 10 year old character scanner. It has been greatly improved. This thing is SUPER fast at reading barcodes, although it's not easy. Also works great with on-screen barcodes. I connected it to my computer via USB, which also charges the battery. There's also Bluetooth, but I haven't used it yet.

We have been using this scanner for over a month now and it works very well. In fact, there are several of them in our stores. They last a few years, which is good because they're not cheap. You must be careful when ordering these things. Some look like it, but they don't have a USB cable, Bluetooth radio, etc. This model has it all.

Didn't work for me, tried scanning various settings to get it working and am through 500+ pages online -Went to manual, learned blink codes and sound codes, no dice.
