Zefal Doodad Bike Pump Strap Review

First, mini pumps require shorter belts (not 10 inches long). Second, like other customer complaints, I figured I'll get a few! It's expensive for a strap.

Excellent universal Velcro straps. The description says "sold in pairs". I was sent one and had to contact Revain to send another one which they did free of charge. Raven always passes. Thank you Rewin!

This is a handy strap for attaching your Zefal pump to the top tube. However, there was only one strap in the package and I was under the impression that two straps would be included (it takes two straps to hold the pump), which was a little disappointing.

I had an old Zefal HPx frame pump that I wanted to use with my Trek 720 Multitrack. Two of these straps managed to keep the frame pump under the bike's top tube. I gave this product three stars as it was fine and did the job. I have other padded belts that I use on other bikes that minimize pump rattle.

This is for attaching the pump to a saddle or top tube, but *not* to keep it separate. I use it with a Zefal pump on my tandem top tube, although the Zefal instruction for the pump says to mount along the seat tube. Does the same job as the cheaper versions but I've used the cheaper ones in the past and after a few years they start to loosen or the velcro breaks. . Some are very angry when hit with your knee. This one looks and feels premium.

I'm crazy about velcro. I love my velcro straps to keep everything organized and secure and they were designed to be the right length to fit a frame mounted bike pump. To be honest you can find regular black velcro at Joann's or any sporting goods store that will work for a much lower price. The only difference is that the regular straps have a slot at the end that the strap goes through to attach the strap to an object.
