I used it to clean and polish the pontoons on my boat. I am happy with the results. It took me a while to get used to it, but I'm glad I stuck it out.

Make sure you have the right grinder/polisher. it definitely cuts. but went and ordered the orange Duffy to cut better. I'll use that for my next step.

Ordered this and another Zephyr, I think it's blue, not sure haha I order what he sends me. But it worked out great and his tractor trailer wheels look like new, so he's happy. Good price and good buy

I bought this marshmallow combo to polish my pickup wheels and I am very satisfied, this is my first test with these products and may need I need more practice, but it's undoubtedly the best way to polish aluminum.

This thing works great, has been used for polishing toolboxes with diamond plates and other small aluminum items, really prevents oxidation. This is not a final buffing pad so don't expect it to be a one step process. I have a finer grit marshmallow pad and a port cargo cotton pad to deal with the mother polish. This process results in an almost mirror-like finish.

Bought both white and yellow Zephyr polishing pads. Satisfied with a white nut, yellow solid like cardboard. Must be an old stock, even Tripoli seems dry and hard.

Polishing is new to me. I used this to polish diamond coated aluminum parts on my golf cart and they turned out fantastic! Gets the job done quickly and fairly easily. Now I am very confident in polishing my tractor trailer aluminum parts! The only downside is dirty fabric lint and polish flying all over the place. Probably my fault for inexperience. In general, I definitely recommend it.

I had a badly oxidized and flaky diamond plate car. I used a California Custom Products Purple Metal Polish/Deoxidizer combo to get rid of the scale (actually the deoxidizer did all the work) that left a white cast on the aluminum. The grinder is refrigerated regularly as it puts in a lot of work and leaves a shiny mirror finish at the end. We recommend!
