It's 16 Street and my car starts right up

I asked the mechanic to put this unit in my freezer. I've only had it for two weeks but we had a week under 16F and the car started right away. I noticed our four feet of snow covering the Honda had just melted off the hood. The thing really works.

Surprisingly easy to install

It's almost impossible to visually see where it's installed as long as you keep your hand there in general proximity. I mounted it on top and didn't remove the bumper cover, just the choke that attaches to the bumper cover, which was totally unnecessary. No leaks so far, which gave me an excuse to top up with fresh antifreeze and burst open the system.

  • Handy thing

  • I have no dislikes, everything is fine

Not impressed with engines and engine parts

I ordered this on the 11th February and was told it would be here on the 13th. That was one of the reasons I ordered it! Well it didn't come until track 17 after he was the main theme as he said! The instructions aren't very clear about anything. It would be nice to know what all the tools are for! I can handle most vehicles so it was difficult for me but this is not for beginners! I will not buy from them again!

Pros
  • Cool product

  • Ugly packaging

and of course it works perfectly! Long story short

I was looking for a heater block, one for my 2006 Ridgeline and one for my wife's 2009 Civic DX. I checked the Zerostart website and it says Contact Your Dealer for the Civic. I looked up the retail price, $110! No way. I checked the Honda parts website and the connector that was removed from the block that replaces this heater block is the same part number for the Ridgeline and Civic so I thought what the heck could I try. Bought two and they actually work perfectly! In short, don't buy a…

Poor male and female fitting

Update: FITS 1st Gen Honda Insight 2000-2006 regardless of what Revane says. The second one I bought has a dead element. Infinite resistance, no conductance, full voltage but no current as shown in this killer wattmeter (photo). I could cut the rubber with a knife, but I'm concerned that if I force the plug to fit, I could bend and possibly break something inside and loosen it. I'm not sure what the stub or the element itself is to blame. Like many manufacturers they may have several different…
