Worked for me in AV accessories

I have a Crown Vic and the antenna is on the rear window with heating elements and doesn't work very well especially on AM. This little antenna really boosted the signal and I'm very happy with it. An important clue. Before you put the radio back into the dash, try the radio out and you may need to plug or unplug the antenna connector into the radio connector, as I found I pushed it all the way in at first and it didn't work properly, so I pulled it out and slowly tucked it in until I heard the

Totally useless for accessories and consumables

I had a little interference with my radio reception and thought my factory antenna might be broken. So I ordered this one thinking it would eliminate static noise. However, as it turned out, reception with this antenna degraded reception so much that the radio almost ran out of stations, and only one that could be found was full of interference, and it lost reception. reconnected the standard antenna and returned all channels. The difference between this and the factory antenna was day and…

Okay Horizontal Reception Tail Fairing Victory Cross Country

Purchased on a 2016 Victory Cross Country Direct Link. The adhesive holding the base and antenna together appears to be 3M and has a strong hold. I mounted it horizontally upside down in the bat fairing and ran across the bike. There are many cables that need a zipper. Reception is ok. Better than if I didn't install the antenna in the fenders due to the extra clearance (just the wire to the rear of the bike along the frame). However, it is not as good as the factory long whip antenna. It also…

Exactly what I needed.

I plugged mine in first and moved around the car to get a feel for the reception, to see if I really hid it and not just taped it to the window. Of course a more direct exposure was better, especially on AM, FM worked well but sometimes lost the HD signal when it was blanked out (if you have an HD tuner). So I went and installed mine at the top of the passenger side windshield, just behind the sun visor so it was a bit hidden and out of sight. You don't even notice it, especially from the…

Warm welcome! Works WITH ADAPTER for 2015 Town and Country

Unbelievable! I could tell right away that the reception was great. We recently bought a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country and didn't like the 3 foot antenna straight out of the '90s. So we switched it to 4" short but the reception was terrible. I thought it might help and it's perfect. When I first opened it I was worried the wire would be too short. That is correct. With a little play it fits perfectly in the A-pillar and behind the glove box. It took me about 30 minutes to remove some of the…

Cable poorly attached to base, flexible laminate prone to cracking

Hello; I bought this item a week ago and from the start I had some issues with the item and the packaging.1. Package; it isn't, you get a coiled antenna, cable and receiver element.2. Construction; no reinforcement at stressed connections or cable ends.3. elementary design; a very thin strip of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of plastic.4. Adhesion; The base of the antenna is a 3-meter strip, but the antenna element itself has insufficient adhesion to the surface. I believe that both…
