Frustrated. When I buy them from the store they last months if not a year or more. I bought this on March 26th and it came out on May 5th. It's not worth it.

Write this review because of customer service. The lamp only lasted a weekend but a new one was sent to me the next day after contacting Revain. I hope the new one lasts longer otherwise you will have to order a replacement.

Zilla is one of the companies we always buy for our reptiles. Now we only have ball pythons and the bulbs have burned out very quickly in the last few months. Lasts between a few weeks and a few months. Don't wake up with a very cold snake or 2, sometimes 3.

The quality of these has deteriorated. I used to love this company. Lightbulbs used to last months, sometimes even a year! I just bought two and the first one blew out after 2 weeks and the second one broke upon opening with a rattling fuse. Very disappointed that this company has degraded the quality so much. I will look for an alternative.

I was annoyed that the light library itself had two scratches on both sides and the packaging was crushed when I received it: it was but double bubble wrapped still washed and scratched. The bulb doesn't fit well and doesn't take out much heat, but it's useful for our cold winters. I might try a different bulb next time as I'm not happy with it:

Don't buy from this site! Zilla fixtures have always been reliable for me and I love their value for money. However, the bulbs I bought from Revain failed 2 hours after the return deadline the first time and didn't even light up the second time. >:( Not a happy hermit crab owner here! The color was right and they were packaged appropriately, but 0 for 2 at work I wouldn't recommend. Buy them in person at the pet store, it makes life easier!

I've been buying this bulb for my hermit crab tank for years. I liked them when I used them; However, they never lasted very long and I stopped using them. I chose this bulb because it mimicked moonlight and seemed to give off a decent amount of heat. It took about a month, which might seem like a long time, but I just didn't want to spend every month doing it.
