Used this to replace a poor quality plastic filler/adapter on my 2012 Chrysler 200

. The original OEM plastic block failed spectacularly. It literally dissolved and the cooling system poured out all the coolant in a matter of seconds. I chose this device for its metal construction and outer diameter dimensions. It pairs perfectly with the existing hoses and stock radiator cap and will never fail due to its strength. Recommend!

Plastic is not suitable for belts, hoses and pulleys

I had a hard plastic from the dealer. After more than 6 years it exploded. Found this one. Dispatched and delivered quickly and on time. Now nothing will explode. not my car and not me.

Check before installation!

The first one I received had a mold defect that went in through the wall of the fitting. It was replaced quickly but QC had to catch it before shipping.

Installed on a 2007 Dodge Caliber

This adapter replaces an overheat damaged, leaking, mismatched OEM thermoplastic radiator fill fitting on a 2007 Dodge Caliber. Not only does Dodge/Mopar sell the fitting itself (you must purchase a complete upper radiator hose kit), but aftermarket units are just as bad, if not worse, than the original. This, on the other hand, is a very high-quality cast aluminum block; It will not crack from exposure to excessive heat. It should be noted that it does not come with a heatsink cap, but the OEM
