Doesn't match his name.

I returned the Panasonic Thermopot because I noticed rust on the inner cover one month and five days after purchase. Then on May 8th I decided to buy this Zojirushi cauldron. On May 12, after four days of use, I noticed a brown stain and discoloration on the inner lid (see circle). This is disappointing as Panasonic and Zojirushi are known for their good quality. Now I don't know which brand to trust. I will follow the development of the brown spots for another week because I like the product…

More Tea Please for Kettles and Tea Makers

I decided to buy a water heater because I was tired of boiling water from the kettle every time I need hot water. And in the mornings I just try to get out the door as soon as possible, I don't want to worry about the kettle going out in the shower. Now I can make ramen, hot chocolate, tea anytime without going to the stove and waiting for the water to boil. A huge amount of water flowed since we use heated filtered water for cooking and drinking every day. In fact the old one worked fine but had two minor issues that prompted us to replace it: 1. the tank felt less clean than it should be and 2. the plastic on the top where the vapor holes were, became…

Safe buy but not a Cadillac model, update 1 year, update 2 years

Bought based on excellent reviews. Looks ok, works ok. Surprised at the lack of an on/off button. This is a permanent heater. I hope it has water detection protection and overheat protection. But then the device may not consume as much power when running 24/7, and reliability and possibly safety (bacterial growth control) is better at a consistently high temperature. On a side note, as an always-on device, I think it should be intended for use at night. However, I have to turn on the overhead…
