The bulbs are fine, as we expected them to be. Only thing is one of them didn't work so I paid $26.99 for just two bulbs, not the best deal.

I don't know enough about durability to give a bad rating. But on my first order of 3 I got everything and tested and one didn't work so Revain sent 3 more packs all was good and I went back to the first 3 easily. The headlights feel solid and I recognize the rest. New aquarium for turtles and all is well!

I bought 3 packs of these lamps for my aquatic turtle habitats. 1 of 3 will not screw into the bracket. I spent 20 minutes screwing in a lightbulb. I chose a different one, and she screwed right in. Not sure if this is common with these bulbs but I didn't want to return all 3 if 2 of them were fine.

As someone who has had other heating pads thrown in the water (lurid experience) when my turtle splashed them, I appreciate the peace of mind I get when using a heating pad with protection from splashes. . I've seen those bulbs splatter and I haven't had a single break. I have used these splash proof heat lamps on all my turtles for years and they are well worth it.
