Ankle Problems, GONE: Parts & Components

I couldn't drive more than 40 miles without my knuckles cracking at every turn. This fixed it (mostly). Quality item, feels like part of a motorcycle.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Good quality extensions but requires Loctite

Looks nice and solid but the pedals need to be tightened every other ride and I wish they were shorter as ground clearance becomes an issue

Pros
  • Handy piece
Cons
  • Operating speed

Difficult to install: Sport

Installation was more difficult than other pedal extenders I've used due to the turnkey flat design. They ensure a tight fit between the crank and the extension. I would probably buy something else next time.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Feel like they're about to fall apart

This is definitely a poor quality product and like so many other items at Revain it is the exact same item listed under a different 'brand name' becomes. I don't trust them, I drive on road and gravel and feel like they break easily.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

They do not fit. on Pedals

What did you like? Nothing I didn't like? They don't have a 9/16 thread! The thread that should go into the connecting rod is too small. You can take your fingers and stick them into the threaded hole in the handle like a pencil. Please DO NOT make the mistake of buying them.

Pros
  • Worthy Achievement
Cons
  • Modernity

Simple and effective

I have these on two bikes. Gravel and road bike. My mountain bike and fat bike already have a wider Q-factor, eliminating the need for extension cords. These work for me. Less knee pain and no rubbing between my size 13 shoes on the cranks. Tip: Lubricate with lubricant before installation, otherwise the removal will be very rough.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No

Worked after modification

The extensions worked fine after I enlarged the through hole to fit my Allen key. My pedals do not have a turnkey outer surface. Insert an Allen wrench into the end of the pedal axle. However, the hole in the extensions is not large enough for the required Allen key. It wasn't much of a problem for me to fix as I had the required drill bit.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Something different

Keeps my knees from hurting

These are easy to install. The threads have spun well. Marked left and right. I would like a larger key flat area for future distances, but my LBS will take it off the pedals if it gets stuck. My knees don't feel any additional discomfort despite longer rides. Since I stand with my feet outside, that was important. Now I attach the clip to the pedals with my cycling shoes facing out and my heels away from the frame. It's worth trying, they matter. I love riding farm roads here in Kentucky andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Keep calm
