Coinjar makes me hesitate a little bit
Coinjar is a wallet and an exchange for managin and trading cryptocurrencies. It does have some competitive advantages compared to other exchange; however, the decent design of the website and the logo really make me feel unsafe. I really think people should be careful with the exchange.
Pros
- - Registration an account on CoinJar is simple and easy so it does not take too much time to access their service
- - The users interface is quite OK. Every section is arranged quite reasonably and not difficult to navigate
- - This is a wallet and also have an internal exchange with let users trade coins such as BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, and ZEC. It is convenient to trade them right on the wallet without going anywhere. It allows fiat to be traded with cryptocurrencies and vice versa. Thanks to the partnership between it and banks as well as Blueshyft, fiat currencies can be deposited very fast to the exchange. It currently support USD, EUR, GBP, and AUD
- - Withdrawals from the wallets to banks accounts are not charged any fees like other wallet making it very efficient for the users who want to maximize their profits
- - It has a referral program that rewards users who complete certain tasks and invite their friends to the exchange
- - Users' accounts are protected by many authentication factors and all funds are stored offline. The data about this is encrypted before the highly secured cloud servers
- - Storing and transferring cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies are very fast and simple
Cons
- - They charge a lot of fees when it comes to the service related to fiat currencies transfers
- - The design of logo and website give me the feeling that this website is a scam. However, it may just because they focus on building the website rather than take care of the design
- - The number of available cryptocurrencies on this wallet is too small that it may not meet the demands of many people
