The Coolwallet S hardware wallet
The Coolwallet S hardware wallet is a credit card sized device for safely storing and spending digital assets. It fits into a wallet and works via Bluetooth with Android and iOS smartphones.
The hardware wallet itself looks like a plastic card. On the front side, in the upper right corner, there is the CoolBitX logo, and below the inscription “CoolWallet S the ultimate bitcoin safe”, which translates as Kulvolet - the maximum protection for bitcoin. On the other side in the upper left corner is the serial number of the device, which will come in handy in case of contacting technical support, a 22.5 x 13.5mm ink display, a mechanical command button and two square charging pads.
One of the advantages of the device is the inability to counterfeit or inject malicious stuffing into the device. CoolWallet S uses a patented "cold compression" process that prevents attackers from installing interception devices that can alter transaction details. The device is very thin, and there is no free space on its circuit board for installing foreign microcircuits. With an adhesive layer that cannot be removed (even with a heat gun) without visual damage, any alteration or fake will be immediately visible on CoolWalletS In any case, the secure element will still protect the user's private keys.
