Review on Dark Wallet BTC by Paul Maduagwu
No wallet updates in a long time.
Dark web btc is focused on bringing BTC and all its helpful features to your browser, hence it was released as a chrome extension plugin. The wallet allows users to access their private keys and users can restore the wallet anytime using their recovery seed.
The wallet works, and is convenient as it is always there on your browser, but browser extension wallets and web wallets are usually highly susceptible to phishing attacks. Maybe Dark web btc could be used for small funds but I wont recommend it for large funds.
Dark web wallet helped improve user anonymity by stealth addresses, a new address is generated after the previous one is used. This is one of its most important feature utilizing the anonymity of Bitcoin. But, it seems as though recently the project is no longer being maintained.
