MyEtherWallet, known to some as Mew, is a virtual wallet that was created in order to serve as a bridge between the Ethereum blockchains; providing its users with quick and easy access; when creating wallets, sending and receiving ETH and its tokens or interconnecting with digital contracts.
Another of its advantages is that you can use the hardware wallets of other platforms, such as: Trezor, Leger, Secalot, Keepkey, Digital Bitbox and its interface supports the Metamask wallet.
The compatibility and easy handling of MyEtherWallet make it possible to access all its functions in three simple steps:
1.- Entering the official website of the application.
2.-Select the option Create a wallet
3.- Choose 1 of the three applications: Mew Connect, keystore file or Mnemonic Phrase. These applications have different characteristics but they have a common objective, which is to help the user to create their security levels by generating passwords, configuring backups, among other security profiles of their wallet.
This wallet sends tokens or ETH through Mew in a very practical and simple way for users, in just 4 steps: press send, select the crypt currency to send, enter the amount to send and the recipient's address. And finally the transaction must be confirmed.
