When handling them you will definitely not confuse these filters with real toddy filters. When I took out one of the bags for the first time upon receipt, I was very disappointed. I thought they were about half the thickness of real toddy filters. I immediately ordered a pack of original Toddy brand filters but used them as I had them. When the real filters arrived and I compared them, I was surprised to find that these filters were almost the same thickness as the real ones. I also thought they were much larger in girth, and while larger, they are a lot smaller than I thought. The real difference is elsewhere - I assume it's the density of the weave or it has something to do with the line running down the center of the real toddy filter. Whatever it is, these things just feel cheap and flimsy compared to the original. The first image I included shows me applying light pressure to one of these filters and the second image shows the same pressure applied to a real toddy filter. The third image with one of these filters on the real Toddy filter shows the slightly larger diameter of these filters and the absence of the aforementioned line. In terms of performance, the first one I used worked adequately. , but it seemed like it needed replacing after only three uses. When I first used the second filter from the pack I received, the cold drink tasted like coffee grounds, although it didn't feel like it. Although these filters are cheaper, I would not recommend them.
