YITIXI 5PCS Lighter Non-Evaporating Gasket … (Black) Review

I was skeptical, but I tried anyway. I filled the lighter after replacing it and left it on the workbench for 3 weeks. Still burns like the day it was full. They basically minimize evaporation down the smokestack of the lighter. The bottom filler cap also keeps the extra flint safe.

Thought this product would help save fuel but instead he ate it. The part was flexible when I received it, but exposure to the liquid caused it to shrink and loosen the seal, allowing all the liquid to come out and evaporate. Maybe that's why they give you so much in the package because they know they won't last long.

I think it definitely helps vaporize the fuel. But I don't think it does much, mine still vaporized almost as fast as before. It's a cool way to organize extra flint and whatnot, but the fuel still evaporates through the wick and might not help as much as I'd like.

Bought this product after 1 day it was still leaking. Within 8 days it had shrunk enough to sit freely and the product had also cured. Totally useless! Friends bought the same product from about 3 other listings on Revain (all turned out to be the same manufacturer, just different suppliers) and got the same results! IT'S NOT WORTH EVEN TRYING! Don't waste money! Would have refunded if it hadn't been for postage.

I thought this might prevent some liquid from spilling out of the wadding onto the bottom of the case. It's likely that a rubber gasket will hold liquid better than anything but fibers. I tested this by comparing 2 of my lighters with a seal and one without a seal. I was hoping this would extend the life of the lighter. As a smoker, a full lighter typically only lasts for three days (due to a hot and very dry environment).
