There is no hole for the air mass meter in the intake pipe!

Come on K&N you guys are better than that. Purchased from K&N CAI part number 63-6014, fits my 2019 Nissan Frontier 4x4 CCSB. The installation went well until I got to the point where I had to install a Nissan OEM mass air flow sensor into a new K&N intake manifold. I look at the pipe and there are no holes/slots for the sensor! I had to break out the dremel and make a slot in the pipe for the mass airflow sensor myself. Added a good 20-30 minutes to install. Noticeable performance and mileage

Bought 7 months ago. Relatively easy installation. On start up I immediately noticed that it was pulling air through a slit under the hood where it wasn't there before. I can definitely feel the power. I noticed that I was starting to accelerate a little faster and the acceleration became SMOOTH. Keep in mind it's only 15hp, so not a huge improvement. Works fine but I think Nissan changed a bit under the hood for 2014

I have a 2014 frontier and I bought it to see if I could improve the gas mileage. I consistently get 22.5mpg or better on the freeway. However, it's easy to stomp and has terrible gas mileage because the throttle is more sensitive and the engine loves to rev with it. It took me about 45 minutes to install. It would have been faster, but it seems like Nissan added a larger throttle body to the 2014 model and also some airbox brackets, so I had to reuse parts from the stock airbox to get it to…

Makes a nice noise but not enough horsepower to feel it.

I have used these K&N intakes on both of my previous machines and love them. I installed it on my 2011 Nissan Xterra. I was hoping for better power and mpg, but I already knew that what you really get is a PLEASANT sound and a large increase in throttle response. It's true that you get 10-15 horsepower, but you might not get anything in a 5000-pound truck. It is NOT noticeable. The same goes for MPG. People will be demanding a better MPG, but I doubt they've ever taken a noticeable hit from it.
