Easy to install, good price

My old switch only controlled the driver's window. In just 10 minutes I uninstalled the old one and installed the new one and can manage all 4 windows again. Oh, not to mention it was a lot cheaper than the retailer's price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Perfect replacement part

I watched a few youtube videos and it made the replacement very easy. The switch replacement took less than 20 minutes and worked perfectly right away. I had issues with only the rear passenger window being operated and this solved the problem. Very well packaged and is a genuine GM part.

Precise fit - perfect!

Had to borrow my father-in-law's truck and I noticed that his passenger side window didn't work on the driver's side switch. I ordered this for him and had it replaced before returning the truck. Took 10 minutes and the window works great. He was very happy that it was fixed. He didn't even know that you could easily replace the switch. He's happy, I'm happy, everyone's happy! Spend that few extra dollars and buy genuine AC Delco parts and you won't regret it in the long run.

DIY, Save $$$

I replaced my factory original with my 2012 Silverado Ext Cab. Necessary tools. 10mm socket with extension and wrench. The driver's windows worked, but everything else worked with the driver's master switch. After replacing everything works like new. I might also put silicone grease in the window channels of each window to make the windows go up and down easily and save motors on the road. After everything was ready, I took it apart and put it back together for about 10 minutes. This is part of

One word: phenomenal! The switch arrived today as promised. I opened the driver's door switch housing on a 2010 Chevy Traverse LT, made changes, and closed the housing. Everything took no more than five minutes. You will need a flathead screwdriver to pry the case out, no screws are needed at all. The problem I had was the front passenger window not working and the rear windows intermittently all due to the master switch. Now everything works like new. The Indiana dealer offered a repair for…

perfect fit, easy install

Front and rear passenger side windows lower but not raise via driver controls; I had to reach out and use the appropriate window control to reopen the window. I thought it had something to do with the power window control unit. ordered this device, it came in 24 hours. it only took 5 minutes to remove the handle from the door, remove the small cover, pull out the old control box and plug in the new one. Fits perfectly and solved my problem with the windows not going up. I installed this in my…

Suitable for Silverado 1500 2010 without heated mirrors

Revain displays a message that this does not fit the 2010 Silverado 1500. Maybe not with heated mirrors, but without. After some research this part was found to fit 2007-2013 models without heated mirrors. Before ordering, you can pull the door switch body first to check if this part fits. Removing the assembly is easy - see below. To slide out and install the door switch assembly: 1. Using a plastic spatula, gently pry the panel on the vertical door handle from above and toward you.2. Remove…

Works great.: Body and trim

Works and matches my 2011 Silverado LT perfectly, the greenish backlight matches the factory backlight color perfectly and all 4 switches work as they should. Installation took about 20 minutes by removing the silver insert from the handle, starting at the bottom, then prying up and then unscrewing the 2 x 10mm screws at the top and bottom of the handle. Then I just use my pry tool to pry the entire piece that the switches are attached to and I unhook the power door lock switch and then I was…

Windows issues fixed

My driver side controls didn't work with the passenger side window. This fixed it. If you have a similar problem where the window works on the door but not on the driver's door, this will most likely fix it. According to other reviews, this is a common problem. The installation video (Utube) showed you how to take a screwdriver or I would use a plastic pry bar to remove the cover on the doorknob. Unscrew and remove the 2 10mm screws. Using the switches, pry the pad up from the front of the pad…
