I bought this for my daughter and son in law to go with the popcorn maker, it's the perfect size as it's very easy to clean in the dishwasher.

is a handy little gadget. I ordered 3rd one for my flour, one for my sugar and a 3rd to put in the fridge freezer in the ice maker basket. that keeps all dirty hands from touching the ice.

Nothing in the post says you can't wash in the dishwasher. The finish deteriorated from the dishwasher, leaving a black streaked mess that got my hands dirty and couldn't be scooped clean. I had to throw it away.

I washed it in the dishwasher once and it came on, the finish fell off. The thing oxidizes and takes on this black dirty surface. Thrown away. Don't waste money. The only reason I'm giving it a start is because there isn't a negative review.

Used as a popcorn scoop and is good for quickly popping popcorn into small bags like we did instead of serving Halloween candy. :) Also suitable as an ice shovel, in the sandbox, for flour or grain, or as a toy for the children's kitchen, I think! :-D

Not so shiny anymore! As with other reviewers, I did not put it in the dishwasher prior to use. I washed by hand. I'm disappointed that I bought a product I can't even use. I can't get the whole shift off of it. So what I was supposed to find great turned out to be a bunch of crap.

I like it, but MUCH less than I thought. I bought it to fill buckets with popcorn, but I'll be there for a while trying to fill a bucket. I buy a big spoon for it. However, I do buy another spoon this small to keep in my flour and sugar bowls. Judging by other reviews I will not wash it in the dishwasher.

Customer service was amazing. Got my money back easily. However, I have to give up this topic, which I don't like. The day I received it it was perfect. Shiny, beautiful, clean. But I always clean whatever food I touch. After washing in the dishwasher it turned a dull, ugly dark gray colour. I went to dry it with a paper towel and transferred the greyish residue onto the towel. I never put it next to food. I contacted the seller immediately about this and he refunded my money without question…
