I would recommend the best set.

I am an ASE certified professional mechanic who bought these after waiting a few months with mediocre service to be able to get a better set but the 134a quick coupler on the bottom already was failed after servicing 5 cars rendering the kit unusable as the internal seals have failed and will not hold the vacuum. The hoses are also not of very good quality and there are always problems with seals at the ends. Overall, I would only recommend buying it if you plan on using it once or twice…

Hoses not good for HVAC

I don't like these gauges my main issue is that there is no way to hook the other end of the hoses so basically the hoses that it are not in use have to hang in the dirt. They also have plastic o-rings that leak, they should be rubber. Also because of the plastic o-rings the hoses don't even hold tight, in HVAC the hoses have to be tight or it's useless. The manifold itself appears to be half drained, although I haven't tried them in the field yet. If I didn't need the sensors I would send them

  • Sturdy construction

The second was better

The first kit I got didn't just hold the vacuum in the manifold. In other words, with the hoses only connected to the manifold and vacuum, the vacuum only lasted 15 minutes. The hoses also came loose, so when testing or filling the system, the connections to the manifold began to leak. Tightening the connections stopped the leak for 15 minutes. I sent the set back for an exchange. Credit to the manufacturer that the replacement kit arrived within 2 days. The new manifold holds the vacuum. I…

These are my new R410A gauges

They came with everything I could ever need or need to work with R410A, R134a or R22. I have military training in AC and R, and when it comes to Uncle Sam's gear, don't mix gases and sensors, so this is a set for each gas. These are the ones I will be using in my home central air system. At this price I can afford to have a kit just for my home air conditioner and buy another kit for cars. They did their job but I can't vouch for the accuracy, I checked the temperatures on both sides of the…

As long as you live up to your expectations, this is a decent device.

not really. it is not of good quality. It works out. It doesn't leak after you check the fittings. If it's for infrequent use, it'll probably be fine. If you were a pro I wouldn't even consider this model. The case is basically useless because you have to completely remove the hoses and then it's difficult to put everything back in place and close the lid. It's quite expensive for the money though. One star deducted because the quality is too bad. Buttons, for example, are made so cheaply that…

So far so good, with one odd caveat.

Hoses and manifolds appear to be of good quality, no leaks. The only problem I've had so far is that the quick disconnects for the high/low connectors are mislabeled! They both have the same markings as the end that connects to the manifold, pointing clockwise to close and counterclockwise to open. Okay, after thinking about what was going on, I saw a few videos of people spinning clockwise to open their quick couplers. Of course it works, and open valves are much more productive than closed…

Seems fine until you try to use it.

The range of functions is great. It is convenient to have a separate vacuum and charge line. Meters seem to be working fine. garbage hoses. Any slight movement of the manifold would cause the fitting to loosen and the seal to be lost. I will be buying another distributor and will continue to use my old Harbor Freight distributor for the time being as this thing is basically junk unless you are willing to babysit it all the time. I was able to recover coolant from a car I worked with him on but…
