NO GASKET, JUST AN STABILIZER

This is NOT a gasket. It's just a stabilizer. It cannot be used as a wheel chock as the instructions state that you must unhitch the trailer BEFORE re-hitching it and unhitch it before re-hitching. X-"Chock" cannot be used to securely lock your trailer. You still need normal pads on both sides.

Pros
  • Ratchet wrench with integrated comfort bumper
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Does it really lock up the wheels

These things (I have two) have really made my trailer tires stronger. Use it along with a pair of pads and there's no movement. The only downside was that they kept them in place until separated. I put the end on the ground, opened them up until I could just slide them in between the hoops and that did it. Excellent stuff.

Pros
  • Rust Resistant Coating
Cons
  • Operating Speed

This handy handle is easy to hold when you extend or remove it from the tires. It comes with a ratchet wrench, easy to use. It is very strong and well made. I was surprised by its weight. Solidly built and easy to use Thank you

Pros
  • Fits in the tightest of spaces - retracts up to 1-3/8 inches and extends up to 12 inches.
Cons
  • Nothing

A must for motorhomes

According to the product description, it improves stability. I haven't noticed any difference in this regard. However, they are necessary to lock the trailer wheels before unhitching. Note that you attach them to the tires more tightly than you think is necessary. I once had a spooky experience on an incline and almost lost my pendant. So now I only switch off when I'm there.

Pros
  • Coated ratchet wrench with integrated comfort buffer
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Excellent chocks on tools and equipment

I've been using it for 2 seasons and have never had an issue with Airstream since I fitted the brake pads. I grease the thread every season. The old grease must also be removed before dismantling, otherwise a lot of dirt will remain in the threads. Each block has its own key. A few drops of light oil are enough to get rid of rust. I would highly recommend this pad to any car enthusiast.

Pros
  • Provides additional stability and prevents tire drift by applying counter force on tandem tires
Cons
  • Available in white only

Stop swinging back and forth.

I am new to camping travel trailers, scaled down from Class A. For the first time I noticed that the trailer with wooden stops rocks back and forth when I climb into it. Arrived in class A, this movement was uncomfortable. Recommended by a friend, these pads work great. The only mistake I made was buying just one instead of a pair. I ordered my second X-Chock. I can attest that I've only used it twice but it definitely works as advertised and from what other campers have said with a littleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Anti-rust coating
Cons
  • Minor repairability

I've been using Bal for 18 years

I've used Bal Deluxe as pads, not stabilizers, and have had no problem except once, when I moved the trailer with the trailer engaged. I damaged one of these but continued to use it with no problems. For safety reasons I ended up replacing it with an X-Chock (Deluxe model discontinued) which seems more durable to me. I was surprised by Bal's claim that he doesn't use it as a parking brake, which I always did. It's likely a grip issue if someone has parked on a steep slope. I can never park on a

Pros
  • Unlike other pads, X-Chock works with the natural movement of the hoops, not against them
Cons
  • Almost never
