I received this "plant" today and almost fainted when I opened the package. This plant is only 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. For $6 it's a robbery and it's unreliable. It's mind blowing how 76% of buyers gave this 5 stars. Do not buy this plant. abominable. The betta needs a bigger plant with nice wide leaves so it can hide and rest.

It took my betta a while to like it but now it's his favorite spot. He likes to sleep or rest on the space created by the leaves. The leaves are a very soft tissue and do not injure its scales. It is easy to clean and still looks new after a few months. Recommend it to Betta owners. I dig the stone base and plastic roots into the gravel at the bottom of the bowl.

Ordered 2 of these. 1 is perfect, the other is missing half the leaves. This should have been noticed when processing the order, especially as there were 2 in the order. If you see 2 side by side they are obviously not the same. It's annoying to have such bad service just because someone didn't pay attention to what they were doing 😏 otherwise I really like this facility.

It's small and just right for a boiler room. Kind. The leaves are soft and pliable. I have to say that what I received has fewer leaves compared to the actual picture. One star deduction for that. The plant also clouded the water somewhat and required several water changes. Gave him a star as soon as my rooster stopped staring at him like he was a foreign intruder. He seems happy as a clam so far.

The plant looks lovely in my 1.1 gallon Crescent Squidward House aquarium on Easter Island, but I had to cut off all the artificial green roots because they didn't look and it was sharp and dangerous to hang around. I also cut out the center notches where more leaves could be attached because those were also pointed and didn't need to be left. Great little plant but the green tendrils that protrude from the base are quite tough and can scratch Betta scales. My rooster likes to rest on or under the leaves at the base and sometimes scratches the scales when swimming against them. The leaves are soft and pretty looking but unfortunately the green tendrils just don't work for my betta. I tried trimming the vines but the trimmed ends are pretty spiky too so I took the whole piece off. Disappointed that I couldn't keep it in my tank.
