My cockatiels love them!

My cockatiels love them. I wouldn't give them to a big bird as they are soft as cork but for small birds they are really good. Only downside is if you have a bird that likes to chew too much like one of my birds took the ball down in 2 days. Take strong wood for such a bird. But they are great for those who rarely chew like my other 2 cockatiels who have had these balls for a few months.

Happy parrots. Bad wallet.

They killed my four parrots (1 Meyers, 1 African Redbelly, 2 Senegals) in 20 minutes. The birds clearly LOVE them, but at $3 each I won't be able to buy them very often. I like it when the seller reduces the cost to $5. Closer to $1 for a toy that spoils instantly I think that's fair :) Anyway, buy for your bored birdie and you'll have a very grateful pet! And we all know how important it is to keep our feathered friends mentally stimulated and entertained!

My budgies are going to town!

At first the budgies thought it might be aliens from outer space killing them, but when they realized they could break those bullets, it was them! It's fabulous. In fact, I had to take them off before bed because the female was ready to flap the male's tail feathers. She was so worried that he would touch her balls that she couldn't sleep. The only bad thing is the cost. Yes they seem cheap but if the ball lasts like 5 minutes it adds up. I just placed my second order. I will hold balls in my…

Happiness depends on the bird

This toy is superbly constructed and very easy to tear apart. How much pleasure a parrot gets from being ripped up by a parrot, and how much interest a parrot has in isolation, depends greatly on the individual parrot. If your parrot's favorite thing to chew on is wood, metal, and other hard materials, your parrot may get frustrated when this ball is brought to him, no matter how much chaos it causes. between popcorn and cork in consistency. When broken, they make a very pleasant crunching…

Budgies love them! - Toy

I bought this for my little construction chicken. If you have a flock of budgies you probably have one or two as well, they love to nibble and dig. My little hen was startled at first but it lasted about 5 minutes and then she rolled on the ground with them and destroyed them throughout the day. I'll give her one a few times a month to give her a break from the chew toys she normally uses. They are free from dyes and other harmful products and I love how birds like them! I don't know if they're

Dangerous for my cockatiel

I bought these sola balls for my healthy 14 year old cockatiel. For some reason she started chewing on her favorite plastic ball, which she had had for about 14 years, so I bought that instead of the plastic ball. It turns out it's not safe. She couldn't go to the toilet for a week because her drain was clogged with Sol's testicle pieces. I was unable to make an appointment with the vet due to Covid and more tickets were being booked everywhere. In a panic I dunked her twice in a bowl of warm…

MY BIRD DESTROYS THESE BALLS

And That's What They're Here For! I have to say that my Meyer Parrot is very picky about toys. She had such a great ball fight last night. She rocked him in the air, attacked him furiously, clung to him and shook him to death. I put a crochet hook through and pulled back the embroidery thread which should be hanging but isn't dangerous. I'm sure many of you make your own bird toys. PS I had to increase the order to 6 skeins per month. I started putting small pieces of almonds and sunflower…

My blue-fronted parrot Revane loves them!

Expensive at $3 each for a pack of 6? Absolutely! However based on the positive reviews I decided I should try them as I try different toys from time to time to stimulate my bird. She is very picky about which toys she likes and which ones she doesn't. Honestly, given their price, I personally hoped she'd turn her back on them, but no such luck. She clung to the first one like a child holding a birthday present. In less than 5 minutes she managed to completely destroy the first ball. With the…
