Great lamp and company.

lamp works great. Never touch these lamps with bare hands. The oil in the YIUR skin will seep into the bulb as the halogen heats up, killing the bulb life. Use a paper towel or rubber glove when inserting. Great lamp, I bought two.

Be careful with lightbulbs

I'm not a big fan of these lightbulbs at all but when installed correctly they work. The problem is that they are not easy to install and will break if not inserted perfectly. They also have an unpredictable shelf life. Some last a long time, others not so long. Looking for an alternative.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Lifespan 8 weeks.

It's a joke! Pay attention to the photo I posted: both blown bulbs only lasted 8 weeks! EIGHT WEEKS. It's hard to tell, but the bulbs that still work are from the original fixture that was installed FIVE YEARS ago. UPDATE - the first photo (2 burnt pears) was taken on 04/29/21. The second picture (3 dead bulbs) was taken today 5/7/21. You can't invent it!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
