Excellent product, suitable for spares

Great movement. Pretty easy to install. It looks great, works well and my wife loves it. F-250 7.3L power stroke 1995 Super Cab.

Pros
  • Unique tread pattern provides a safe, non-slip surface
Cons
  • Not safe

Not bad - replacement parts

This item works well on my 97 foot F-250. I'd rather not drill holes in the door sills, but I think all of these products are installed that way. At least the ones I found. Nice stable step and looks great on the truck

Pros
  • Manufactured from corrosion resistant, durable cast aluminum alloy
Cons
  • Minor

I bought a set for my Bronco a few years ago. .

A few years ago I bought a kit for my Bronco. They've definitely gone down in quality. The drop should be lower or optionally give a lower drop. The pitch definitely goes a lot higher than the old ones I have. It was disappointing that you still need a piece of wood to reach the step (I'm short, 5ft 2in).

Pros
  • Innovative stylish design
Cons
  • old

Learn more about how to mount them.

The reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 was because of the instructions, they were very clear and easy to use. I bought them after seeing an old pair on a friend's truck. When I received these new ones I was immediately disappointed that the quality had dropped compared to my friend. Second, when I wanted to install them on my 96 F250, there was only one way to mount them right through the window sill. I now know I had to drill through the floorboard when I bought it and had no problems…

Pros
  • Exclusive Multi Mount System
Cons
  • Out of fashion
