Firstly, this product costs $18, it does not remove 100% chlorine and contains plastic parts! All in all, there is a noticeable difference, even after just one use. My skin is not as dry and itchy as it used to be. Yes, it leaked when I first installed it. I took it off and added a small ball of sanitary putty around the washer seal in addition to three coats of teflon tape, reassembled and tightened everything up. I installed this due to various harmful effects of chlorine in my water. First, installation is easy with teflon tape and a wrench (my own). The aesthetics are rather ugly, but tolerable. When measuring chlorine, however, this decreases only slightly. The amount is so small I can't "feel" the difference. This is a cheap and fairly effective product. For the price I didn't expect it to be the most durable and it isn't. The connection points including the threads are made of plastic, which means that the threads loosen over time when screwing onto a metal shower head.
