Great Value, Time Warner Ready Modem

Connects to TimeWarner in minutes and works as expected. I haven't tested 100MB, but I won't get close with my flimsy plan, so don't worry. It's a modem only, not routable, but I already had a wireless router and it connected right away. The included Cat5e Ethernet cable is about 6 inches long, making it almost unusable. Most people have them in packs, like me, so I don't really care. This is the best value in my research, so I'd recommend it to get rid of that horrible $10 rent!

No frills, mostly Cheers

Bought and used about 3 months. Nothing special, very light device, the stand is fine. There are no serious complaints, although it seems that our Smart TV (Samsung) is having a harder time maintaining a stable/strong signal during peak internet usage times in our area. It gives off some heat, but nothing dangerous unless the vents are clogged; It is recommended to keep it upright to increase airflow. For the money saved, it's a good investment even if we decide to switch to another ISPโ€ฆ

Save money on modem and electricity rentals from day one.

Ready to go in 10 minutes on Comcast in Minneapolis. At the end of June I bought a D-Link DCM-301 for $29.99. Renting a modem here costs $10.74 per month. with taxes. In this case, the payback period is less than 3 months. This modem has 8 channels down and 4 channels up. That means a download speed of 340 Mbps plus or minus. My plan gives me 70Mbps uplink and 5Mbps uplink. I measure 83Mbps upstream/6Mbps with speedtest.net and fast.com. downlink and 4 uplinks. Although I've heard and expectโ€ฆ

Stop renting your cable modem!

In the interests of full disclosure, I received this about half an hour ago and completed my activation less than fifteen minutes ago. However, I am leaving a five star review here as it is a huge improvement over the Arris modem provided by TWC. Today. Previously, the absolute top speed I've seen was 17Mbps with fairly high latency and a packet loss rate of around 0.5%. Video streaming, as you can imagine, has been a challenge, as has working from home. TWC didn't help much other than theirโ€ฆ

Great modem for computers and accessories

I used to have such a bad WOW modem that I had to restart it twice a day. Ever since I bought the D-Link DCM-301 modem, I've forgotten about it because I don't have to worry about it working or not - it always works! It's a small size that fits me perfectly and has been working flawlessly since I bought it about four months ago. , US, Online and LAN) must be enabled for the modem to function properly. Good product! Easy setup of Plus and Play.

Great product! Easy setup of Plus and Play. I plugged it in and after calling the cable company to give them the MAC address it was up and running. And it works better (faster in terms of ping and response time since my bandwidth is limited) than the cable company's cable model I'm using. Pay $15 a month. Later I logged in to see what I can set up. Very little can be changed and configured on this device. It just works and I think it's great. Instead of buying a combo cable + router model, I've

  • I'm nervous

I bought a D-Link DOCSIS 3.0 (DCM-301) cable modem compatible with Comcast Xfinity, Time Warner Cable, Charter, Cox, Cablevision and others to get it to be used with OPTIMUM. I wasn't sure if this would work with Optimum Wifi Internet in the New York/New Jersey area. I am VERY SATISFIED with my purchase now because it works with OPTIMUM. The speed is amazing! I used to rent a MODEM ($10/month) from Optimum, now I save $10/month on my internet bill. I also use a router, NETGEAR N 900 Wirelessโ€ฆ

Much better than a rented modem from Xfinity

When my Xfinity service was installed Comcast provided a rented cable modem that was very large and provided other services that are good for Xfinity but that buyers do not help. My location was shown incorrectly on the maps (I'm assuming this is the home of the previous person who rented this modem). After purchasing a much smaller D-Link DOCSIS modem, I took both modems to Xfinity where they registered my new modem and de-registered the rented one. When I got home, I plugged in the cable andโ€ฆ
