They just arrived yesterday. I opened the package today and found they are packed in a box with a label printed on them. They were not in Energizer's original/expected plastic packaging. These batteries were shipped in a white unsealed cardboard box. This was not stated in the description and is VERY misleading. I came back to read the description and it says "Bulk Packing". What does that mean? The packaging says new. I have no way of knowing. I don't see an expiration date. I am very upset about this and feel very betrayed. Like many other reviewers I ordered these for our smoke alarms which require 9 volt batteries because we were at the end of it . My husband buys the cheapest 9v batteries he can find and they are never the big brands which I prefer. Even cheap 9V batteries at the store are about $4 for two batteries, which is crazy.
