QUICKLY! Office Electronics

I had a DS860 but had to give it up when I upgraded my Mac OS to Catalina (64-bit OS only). 860 does not work with 64-bit. Turned this on and didn't look back. It is very quick and easy to use. Compact enough for a small office and fast scanning.

Pros
  • Office Electronics
Cons
  • Dull Hardware

Disappointed in office electronics

For so much money, the quality of work leaves much to be desired. No speed if you choose best quality images. You need to work better on the description.

Pros
  • Scanners and accessories
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Probably a scanner to avoid

By all the specs and reviews this is a great device to replace my 12 year old Fujitsu scanner. Unfortunately after getting a new device and trying to get it working with my computer and then spending 1.5 hours on the phone with Epson tech support (which was good) we couldn't get this scanner to work Properly communicating or working with my new desktop Dell computer running Windows 10. Epson seems to have some pretty buggy software for this device. I was also unimpressed by the quality of the…

Not recommended for Mac OS Catalina users

I have a home office, fully digitized. I scan everything, I almost never keep paper documents. I've scanned over 6,000 documents over the years and they're stored as searchable PDFs on my MacBook Pro. I used to have 3 filing cabinets. Now I just have some paper templates that fit 1/3 of the closet. If you haven't started scanning your documents yet, you should start now. This will completely change the way you manage documents. In this test I compare all the scanners I use: β€’ Fujitsu iX500 ‒…
