Great Quality - Bike Rack

Yes the other review was correct you will need to completely remove the paint from the ends otherwise highly recommended very much.

Works perfectly in accessories

Something this simple should just work, and it does. I took a few of these and mounted them on a board that goes from side to side in the back of my truck. Even without straps, all bikes are held securely. If I need another one in the future I will buy this one.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Upgradable

Buy better. for camping

Item works until it bends. He leaned forward very slightly. Spend the money on one that won't break in a month or two. I have a light road bike. And when he put it in his pocket, he tipped over a little and bent the latch, asked the company for a new one and offered to pay, but no. You will not.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

Unreliable - Accessory

I tested it while driving around the neighborhood at low speed. When I got home I noticed the clamp had opened causing the fork to bounce and not be secured. When I started riding, I wrapped the yoke around the front fork to keep it from happening again. I also tied both bikes together in case the yoke fails. The clamp was really loose and I noticed the bike bounced. Luckily, the belt kept the bike from falling off and ending up on the freeway. I don't recommend this for travel, could be a wall

Wooden bracket

Neat product. Installation Instructions: If your truck or SUV doesn't come with a flatbed, go to Homedepot or Lowe's, buy 1" thick lumber and two 1/4" * 1" screws (sheet metal screws will also work, but screws are best for wood, also make sure the wood is tight enough as the screws may loosen over time, you can determine the density by weight or just ask the warehouse worker) Position the bracket on the board (put it into the trunk to find the best bracket location), draw a dot through the…

The possibilities are endless!

Snap-in mounts come in handy for a variety of mounting options. You can use them to mount your bike on a flat surface on the ground or on a vertical surface like a garage wall. I used this particular bracket to turn our utility trailer into a toy tractor by mounting these forks to the front horizontal beam and then tying the rear bike tires to the side rails. It's hard to tell in this photo, but you can see two bikes strapped to the front and sides of the trailer, and kayaks and kayaks strapped

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Not all fit

Functional but imperfect design

This mount appears to be solidly built and generally functional, but I had one big issue and one small issue with the design. The main problem is that the hub axle is too wide for standard 9mm dropouts. I used a pair of calipers and measured the hub axle at about 9.3mm. It took an awkward amount of force to get the hub into the dropouts. I didn't want to deal with returning a product to Amazon and taking the same risk with another item so I sanded the paint off the hub axles and that reduced…
